Wildlife at Cottrell Resort
There’s something special about life on the course at Cottrell — and it’s not just the golf.
Lately, one very cute visitor has been making herself right at home! Our resident fox has been spotted exploring the fairways and enjoying the peaceful surroundings, quickly becoming part of the Cottrell family.
HOLE IN ONE GALORE!
Throughout May, we had 2 member have a hole in one on our golf courses!
- Deio Clwyd– Hole-in-one on the 12th Mackintosh. A truly special moment for Deio, during an individual stableford competition.
- Iwan Parsons – Hole in one on the 9th Button Course. Iwan who has been a member with us since 2024, enjoyed this special occasion
Men’s Captains Away Day
On Friday 22nd May, Mond Valley hosted Men’s Captain Martin Andrews Away Day.
The sun is shining, the course looks brilliant, and a good time was had by all.
We hope everyone who attended had a wonderful day of golf in the sunshine!
30 YEARS OF COTTRELL RESORT
Can you believe it? On June 1st, 1996, the gates to Cottrell Resort officially opened to the world.
After two years of construction, our beautiful estate transformed from a grand vision into the thriving golfing community and resort we all love today. Over the last three decades, these grounds have been home to unforgettable rounds, lifelong friendships, family celebrations, and so many shared memories.
We’ve grown, we’ve developed our courses, upgraded our clubhouse, and evolved over the years—but our incredible community has remained at the heart of everything we do.
