Celebrating Our 2026 Captains’ Drive-Ins

Cottrell Resort was proud to host three fantastic Captain’s Drive-In events this March, marking the start of an exciting year for our Seniors, Ladies, and Men’s sections.

Ladies’ Captain Drive-In – Thursday 19th March

A beautiful sunny day set the perfect scene for Tina Moss’ Ladies’ Captain Drive-In. The Ladies Section enjoyed a fantastic 9-hole shotgun start, followed by a delicious two-course luncheon. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the fundraising efforts—£733 was raised for the 2026 Ladies Captain’s Charity, Ty Hafan and Arthritis UK. Here’s to a wonderful year ahead for Tina!

Men’s Captain Drive-In – Saturday 21st March

The Men’s Section turned out in full force to support their new Captain, Martin Andrews, as he teed off down the 1st of the Mackintosh Course. A fantastic day was had by all, with £500 raised for his chosen charity, Ty Hafan. Best of luck to Martin his 2026 captaincy!

Seniors’ Captain Drive-In – Wednesday 25th March

Over 60 seniors gathered to celebrate new Seniors’ Captain, Rob McAndrew, with an 18-hole shotgun start on the Mackintosh Course. The event concluded with a wonderful luncheon in Tyler’s Cabin, featuring speeches and prizes, with £161 to his chosen charity, British Heart Foundation. Wishing Rob all the best for his 2026 captaincy!
