We are excited to share some fantastic news that have occurred throughout August
Hole in One
A fantastic achievement at Cottrell Resort, as member Les Phillips recorded a hole-in-one on the 8th hole at The Mackintosh course.
On an exceptionally hot day, Les showed great composure and skill to deliver a truly memorable shot. Congratulations on this outstanding accomplishment,
Ladies, Ladies, Ladies!
Our Ladies Section hosted their Members & Guests Day on the beautiful Mackintosh Course.
We had a full field of wonderful ladies out on the course, with the weather playing along for most of the day.
Our fabulous members treated everyone to an array of delicious homemade cakes and sandwiches at the Halfway House – a perfect pick-me-up!
Thanks to the generosity of all involved, an amazing £330 was raised for Cancer Research Wales through raffles and donations.

All with handicaps under 10.
All working on the golf course every day.
Only one team can claim bragging rights.

Celebrating 20 Years of Dan Jarvis at Cottrell Resort!
Dan first joined us back in 2005, starting out behind the bar for 4 years before moving over to the greens team — where he’s been a cornerstone ever since!
Over the years, Dan has celebrated his 30th and 40th birthdays here, and even met his wife Nicole at Cottrell!
We’re so proud to celebrate this incredible milestone with him. Congratulations Dan — here’s to the next 20!

What a fantastic day on Sunday for our Captain vs Vice Captain charity match in support of Dementia UK
The sun was shining, the golf was top class, and after 36 holes the winners were… Vice Captain’s Team!
