We are excited to share some fantastic news that have occurred throughout July.
Charity 2023 Donations
Our 2023 Ladies Captain Rowena McArtney presented Tŷ Hafan with a £3640 cheque for raising funds throughout her captaincy. On behalf of Ty Hafan and Rowena, a big thank you to all our Members and Guests on their donations throughout the year.
Trip Advisor Travelers Choice
We have been awarded the TripAdvisor Travelers Choice for the 8th time! A HUGE well done to all of our hardworking staff members on this achievement, and also a big thank you to all Customers and Visitors who have supplied us with feedback and reviews.
Open Days and Captain Day 2024
Our wonderful Ladies Section hosted their Open Day on the 4th July on the Mackintosh Course, and what a great day they’ve had! We had over 100 ladies play and our lovely lady Members ensured that they were all well fed and refreshed with their gorgeous homemade cakes and Pimms.
Our Mens Open Day was hosted on Saturday 6th July, with over 110 players taking part! Lots of excellent scores were received and lovely comments coming back off the Mackintosh Course.
The Seniors Open Day, the biggest in Wales, took part on Wednesday 17th July, with over 280 attendees on both the Mackintosh and Button Courses. They also entertained a putting competition, which was a great hit with all involved.
On Saturday 13th July, Captains Will Thomas, Jen Thomas, and John Jenkins held an extremely successful Captain’s Day on yesterday, with over 170 members taking part on the Mackintosh Course. The Halfway house is fast becoming “The Talk of South Wales” as players were once again greeted with a BBQ, cooked by our Captains and Vice Captains.

30th Birthday Party
On Saturday 20th July, our very own Nicole celebrated her 30th birthday in the Tylers Cabin and Conservatory! We are obsessed with the Festival themed vibes!
